I actually felt pretty bad for Draco after book 6. In all the previous books, he was just a kid. A horribly spoiled, snobby, nasty kid, but a kid. But then the Battle at the Ministry of Magic happened, Lucius took the fall and Draco was suddenly thrust into a horrible, horrible situation.
